Alberta born of Métis and Celtic roots, this history, as well as a love of nature, color and the delight in the muse, influences my work.

My traditional homeland is Mahaska, Alberta, which is part of treaty 6, and 8 and also the home of the Anishinaabe, Dene-zaa, Nêhiyawak, Secwépemc, Stoney Nakoda, and Métis.

I would like to acknowledge the unceded traditional territory of the Coast Salish Territory of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ nations where I make my work and my home.

As a multi-faceted artist, I work in many mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry making as well as a performing artist in film, and with her band Southbound and Friends as well as the Sari Alesh Band, in Victoria, BC.
