Born in small town rural Ontario, Karen Colville obtained her BFA at OCAD. Since graduation, she has facilitated workshops, group and solo exhibits in North America and internationally. Intrigued with the natural and super-natural spiritual energies of the West Coast, she calls Vancouver her home and creative hub. She has returned to creating her visual art as a practice, energy balancing art, a quiet understated means of communicative expression, after a ten year career in the music industry. Her images are calming explorations, a plant based spirit consciousness and healing modality with a grounded earth bound connection of experience.
